Simon Morrissey is an independent curator and writer on contemporary art.
His curated projects have been produced in a diversity of contexts and include exhibitions for major public organisations such as Arnolfini, Bristol; The British Council and The Bowes Museum, County Durham, as well as exhibitions for commercial galleries and independently produced exhibitions. He has written regularly on contemporary art for numerous leading galleries, publishers and magazines in Britain and internationally. He regularly talks publicly about contemporary art and curating, as well as being a frequent visiting tutor on a number of leading Fine Art courses at UK universities. He is a Senior Lecturer in Fine Arts at Bristol School of Art, Media & Design, UWE.
