The session will also be a public networking event. Refreshments will be provided. **Programme** 15.00 - 15.30 pm Welcome and Launch of the Curatorial Network (Judit Bodor) 15.30 - 17.30 pm Report on the research (participants of the professional development session) 18.00 - 19.30 pm The Gallery - networking event and exhibition (see details of the exhibition separately) <hr> **PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES** 4, 11, 16 April from 11.00 - 17.00 During the period of his residency, Sergio Edelsztein will lead three whole-day professional development sessions at Dartington College of Arts in relation to the public seminar Curating the Other: The Curator as Tourist. Edelsztein will work with a maximum of 17 students and professionals from across the South West. The participants will develop a critical mapping of the art world focusing on curatorial enterprises that are perceived by the public as ‘representative’ of foreign culture. Participants will have the opportunity to research and discuss international curatorial methodologies and elucidate the motives, mechanisms and interests behind the processes of ‘selection’ and ‘presentation’. The professional development sessions are free of charge but participants need to cover all their own travel and subsistence costs. Participants will need to be available to attend all three sessions. ''How to apply: application deadline **20 March**.
