The cultural agency aMAZElab, co-founded and directed by Claudia Zanfi,
involved on socio-territorial projects and micro-geography researches, is
glad to announce the participation at a series of international conferences
for first semester 2007:

³HOSTING², International Biennial of art and urban landscape
The Biennial will deal with the urban experience and activities that have
the power to transform the city into a higher quality,
sustainable and vital place. The presentation will focus on aspect such as
participation, migration, hospitality.
Curated by Sigal Barnir (Bezalel Academy of Art and Design) and Yael Moria
(Israeli Pavillion  at Architecture Biennial Venice ).
 
LECTURE on MONDAY 30th July 2007
At Bat Yam Urban Center

³ATLANTE MEDITERRANEO², International Biennial of Venice
aMAZElab has been invited to create and document the experience made during
its project ³Atlante Mediterraneo²  through a ³public diary², by means of a
BLOG. In this blog  partners and participants will be involved, so that the
different perspectives of cross-med cooperation and activities will be
reflected upon, on issues such as: art and urban practices; community and
territory; public sphere; editorial projects and cultural interventions;
contested spaces; the visible city-the invisible city. Promoted by European
Cultural Foundation,  Amsterdam.

³MILANO> KIEV a/r², International Festival of Social Sculpture
A new project by aMAZElab, realized for the International Festival of Social
Sculpture, is a video essay «Milano>Kiev a/r. On migration, memory and
identity» exploring the world of working emigrants (legal and illegal), on
the example of the Ukrainian women in Italy. The video-essay is dealing with
gender issue and explores working mobility, class division,  memory and
migration.

A round table and pubblic discussion on the subject ³Public and Territorial
Art². Presentation of researches and materials by students and young artists

(director MAST- Museo di Arte Sociale e Territoriale), Vasif Kortun
(Director Platform Garanti, Istanbul), Marti Peran (curator and professor
Barcelona University).
