"Tate Modern and the Expansion of 'New Institutionalism': New
Developments in Art & Public Programming Practices"
This AHRC funded doctoral studentship is a collaboration
between the International Centre for Cultural and Heritage
Studies, Newcastle University and Tate Modern.
It is an exciting opportunity to undertake funded PhD research
into the interstices between the practice and the public
reception of art, as exemplified by Tate Modern.
The lead academic is Dr Bernadette Buckley and full time
awards in 2007/2008 will provide a maintenance payment of
£12,600 and tuition fees of up to a maximum of £3240.
Preference will be given to applicants who have a Masters
level degree and/or relevant research experience and training.
