EU Structural Funds: A Last Chance
11 December at Tate Modern, London
Did you know that over 1200 arts and cultural projects were supported by the
EU Structural Funds between 2000-2006? A total of over 600 million Euro was
allocated! With further funds available between now and 2013 why not take a
closer a look at how your cultural project, combined with economic and
social regeneration, could be supported?
This one day event at Tate Modern will provide a range of information, from
the essential information about what the EU Structural Funds are through to
case studies of projects that have successfully received funding. Experts
and recipients of EU Structural Funds will provide highly valuable
information speakers confirmed so far include Julia Twomlow from Perfect
Moment: Project Creators, Developers and Fundraisers, based in Cornwall,
Peter Sinclair from Frontline States in East London, and Patricia Stead from
Arts Council England, North East, an area of the country that has benefited
significantly from this funding source.
This seminar will focus on the two main funds of the EU Structural Funds
the European Regional Development Fund and the European Social Fund, the
ways they are allocated via Objectives 1 and 2 regions in the UK, and
through the various Objective 3 (Interreg IV) options, and the new
priorities for rural regeneration arising from reform of the Common
Agricultural Policy.
It will also provide some practical information on the calls for proposals,
which are shortly to be announced across the UK with all funds coming on
stream by 1 January 2008, and on the application process.
As it is also likely that the 2007-2013 period will be the last time that
any significant resources from these funds will be available to the UK, take
advantage of this opportunity to find out more so you don¹t miss out on this
final opportunity for your project.
The price of the seminar is £100 (+VAT). For more information and to book a
place please visit www.euclid.info <http://www.euclid.info/> or email
