Dear List,
The summer is definitely over and with the new season upon us we would like
to start a series of discussions on this List reflecting what is promising
to be the most exciting and a very busy 'curatorial' season - in the South
West of UK and elsewhere.
Firstly, we would like to continue introducing people not only involved with
the CN project but who are members of this List and I would like to thank
Chris Fremantle for initiating this earlier in the summer.
Secondly, we will be introducing a series of discussions inspired by events
and activities that people on the List are involved in. I would like to
highlight few discussion threads that we are planning over the coming months
and to introduce invited moderators but I will do this in a separate email
to follow.
And finally, please keep sending information, announcements, resources and
themes for discussions to the List that are of your interest.
Bibliography section on the Curatorial Network website has been now updated
with the summary of references and links on 'politics of participatory art'
following an earlier exchange instigated by Megan.
As a late reminder - Paul O'Neill is launching his new book 'Curating
Subjects' today (10 October 2007) at Arnolfini, Bristol, UK - for those who
happen to be in Bristol.
---
With very best wishes
Joasia
