STICK IT TO THE MAN

University of Plymouth, UK

http://www.stick2man.com

When: Tuesday 11th of March 2008, 12pm - 4pm: Workshops, 4pm onwards:
Screenings and chit-chat
Where: Ride 2 Café Bar - 45 Tavistock Place, Plymouth
Why: Stick it to the Man is a series of FREE workshops, aimed at giving you,
the consumer, a little bit of power back.

We all know how big and powerful corporations are and there's plenty of
opinion and fact that supports the suggestion of shady business practices
amongst these business behemoths. Each of us has thought long and hard about
where we feel there's injustice in the corporate world. Some of us are angry
at the way companies do business, cutting costs or manipulating the public
into buying things they don't need. Some of us are up in arms because there
are goods and services that cost so much because of the huge markup placed
on them by their distributors. Some of us are aghast because products with
real potential are crippled and pushed out the door to the consumer half
finished.

What we all have in common here at Stick it to the Man is the desire to do
something about it.
So join us for one of our FREE workshops, pick up some skills and talk to
like-minded people.
