Call for Curatorial Partner
Barrington Court - Contemporary Art
 
The National Trust is offering a unique opportunity for artists to respond
to one of their most important country houses at a pivotal time in its
history. Barrington Court in Somerset now stands empty for the first time in
almost 100 years. We are looking for an experienced partner to work with the
Trust on an application to the Arts Council and to develop and manage this
exciting project to be launched in autumn 2010.
 
This ambitious programme fulfils the new commitment to partnership working
between the National Trust and Arts Council England, and meets priorities
for Somerset. The successful candidate will receive a fee of £1,000 to work
with the Trust to develop an application to Arts Council England.
